Home Instead Senior Care

Home Instead Senior Care is devoted to providing the highest-quality care for older people in the comfort of their own homes. We offer a wide range of one-to-one services tailor made to the needs of the individual - and home visits can be from an hour a day up to 24 -7 care that includes weekends and holidays.

Services are flexible to the needs of each client. These can include personal care such as assistance with bathing, dressing, eating and medication; home help covering all aspects of day-to-day housework, shopping, meal preparation and household duties; and companionship services that can involve everything from escorting clients on visits or appointments to simple conversation and good company.

Many of our at-home clients receive Home Instead Care as a result of a direct approach to us by their families, but we also have strong links with medical practices, social agencies and charities, which utilise our comprehensive services or recommend them to their clients.

Much of our work involves liaison with care homes and independent living centres providing individual residents with a higher level of care when extra help is needed. We can also provide valuable staff assistance during busy times of day or when staffing levels require some external support.

Whilst our principal services involve the day-to-day care of older people in their own homes (and in care homes), we also provide a range of specialist services, which include Alzheimer's and dementia care, convalescence care - and respite care, for families who need a break from day-to-day caring duties.
